Memorial Day In Our Tiny Hamlet...

We're so tiny, we combine our Memorial Day celebration with two other small villages near us.

Thank the Lord above for ALL volunteer firemen.
What would we do without them?!

My hubs is a newbie fireman so he rode in the rescue truck.
Hi Sweetheart! Wave hello to everybody!
(I'm so proud of him!)

Ready...

Aim...

Fire!

What great pictures. I'm originally from a small town (larger than tiny) and these pictures bring back such memories. I was a majorette and marched in many parades. We always had people on horses bringing up the rear, but the firetrucks and rescue squad vehicles were the main attractions. Occasionally there was a float, but not many. Oh, and don't forget the scouts and the little league teams. What fun. Thanks for letting us know small town life still exists.

Wonderful pictures!
Doug went to our parade today while I stayed home and worked on orders - we live in a very small town too.

Wow, what FUN! I am so very proud of Mr Peanut. He looks like a kid with a secret firecracker.
I am proud of him right next to you!
