Oh my, Jan!! Could you imagine?! I'm still hoping to find an Izannah Walker dollie in our attic, tucked in the rafters. If only! ♥
The last photo gave me the giggles! :> )
When I was little I had a huge collection of dolls; a big walking doll, stuffed dolls, baby dolls, Barbies.
My poor mother got tired of packing and unpacking them every time the Air Force transferred my dad and we moved. They eventually were all rehomed. I wish I had some of those dolls now.
Ali x
Man Ali, that's too bad. :> ( I am so very grateful my mama saved some of my toys as a child. I still have the teddy bear my gramma bought for me before I was born. (She passed away before I got to meet her)
Even though my toys are in rough shape, that's fine with me. When most collectors want pretty, pristine toys, I much prefer "well loved" ones. :> )
The dude in the last picture HAD to have lost a bet!!!!lol
I was scrolling through these photos getting all sentimental. Recalling long gone Barbie's,Raggedy Ann's, Thumbelina (actually still have her). I'm ready to reach for a tissue...then I came to that last one. Ya got me~~as usual! :)
**giggle**
Sorry Maureen, I just couldn't resist. I love that last photo! :> )
Wonderful!!!
The last one is the best!
Thanks for sharing!
Prim Blessings
