Three Small Things...

We tend to hem and haw about the holidays. Stressin' over not enough time, not enough money and not enough gifts.

Its time to step back take a deep breath and remember the true spirit of Christmas. Its the small things in life we do everyday that truly make us happy.

A store bought gift will last only so long. But the memory of openin' a door for someone with a baby and an armful of shoppin' bags, or helpin' out an elderly person who can't quite reach for that can of peas on the top shelf of the grocery store will last a life time. How about helpin' out the folks at Hospice or The Salvation Army. Lord knows they are in need of volunteers. Or just smile at someone who passes by instead of lookin' away or down at your feet. I guarantee, they will smile back.

My dear friend Blondie/Vintage Primitives has ask we pass along this message.

Please post this banner on your blog. Lets make the world a better place by doin' three small things a day for someone. In turn, y'all are doin' somethin' nice for yourself.
God bless... :> )

  1. Aw, thanks Peanut! I am so thankful that you are sharing this! I am sitting down right now with a cup of latte I bought - one for me and one for my sister - who by the way has never had a pecan caramel latte. YUMMY!
