As much as I would love to see Washingtons, Lincolns, Hamiltons, Grants and Franklins in my wallet, this time of year my idea of seein' some green is different.
Pity the first three months of the year. Disliked, maligned, we can't see the end of them too soon.
I like to think of Winter as the Earth's chance to rest before once more taking up yet another cycle of rebirth. Done without complaint, as surely as the Sun rises and sets. What a shame we don't hibernate like all the other, sensible mammals! ;)
Oh..green is such a long way off....but with spring come so much work and a graduation party so I am enjoying the snow for now! Dianntha
ReplyDeleteI am seeing green where I am so the first would be better for me..;) I love your photos those.especially the big old sunflower with sunglasses.:)
ReplyDeleteMe too! Thanks for sharing; it's the only green I'll see today. All is gray and white in NH. No sun, no grass...nada. so sad!
ReplyDeletePeanut..
ReplyDeleteRight now , it is 20 degrees and the wind chill is five degrees..
I wouldn't mind seeing some warmer temps and green grass !
Hugs... enjoyed the *green* photos.
