I love my rustic chandeliers but thought they were rather boring. I really love the dripped candle wax look, but when I looked around on the internet I couldn't find any sleeves I liked.
Enter my glue gun...
I was so pleased with the outcome, that I will actually admit it was worth all the burns I got on my fingers from that d*mn thing!
Who cares if I have permanently removed all my finger prints.
:> )
They look wonderful -- you did a great job on them!
ReplyDeleteThat dang hot glue is really hot!! Hope your burns heal quickly.....
They look wonderful. Now with the economy the way it is, you wont have to worry about fingerprints when you turn to a life of crime. Seriously though, I hate the hot glue gun and I thought you were going to use the craft kind. Your way worked beautifully. I love the antiquing. Very realistic. Great job.
ReplyDeleteThanks gals!!
ReplyDeleteHee-hee... Peachy, I swear you read my mind! I was going to comment about my new life of crime. ((giggle))
Wow, what a result! It looks great.

That looks fabulous! Your home is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteHey Gal, it's me again. Just wanted to let you and your crew know that your awesome studio is being shown in my new blog. Come on over and see what your work space looks like. And yes, I am a mind reader...watch out.
ReplyDeleteThose look super! Impressive, as always! Ok, so I'm trying to make the move from art as playtime to art as hay $$ - great timing in the economy, huh? Anyway, I'm opening an Etsy shop and having a Give Away from http://www.sherryscabin.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteCould you drop by and check it out?
Hope God's shuckin' out blessings for you today! Hugs and Mule Kisses!
