Guess I'm Not The Only One Ready...

to get crackin' on transforming these 1980's counter tops.
Side note: Have I mentioned I no longer like the word "transform," "transformed," "transforming" or "transformation?" Yep, it's true. But it has nothing to do with this product or the toys.

Anyway... The neked dollies I've been workin' on got wind of what my plans are for this weekend. When I walked into the kitchen they were ready.

I tried to explain to them the importance of being fully clothed when doing home improvement projects and that ankle socks and Mary Janes' don't qualify as "fully clothed." So they agreed to sit by the wood stove and watch.

Have a terrific weekend!!
Wish me luck!

  3. Thanks, Ladies! Dixie, I decided on "Charcoal." Since I had the light counter tops, it was time for some contrast to my newly painted English Cream color cabinets. The Onyx is nice, but too contemporary looking for my taste. Besides, with a wood stove in our kitchen, I can't imagine the dust that would show. Eeek!! Charcoal color is perfect for that! ;> )
