This was a sporadic whooshing sound.
As the sound got closer, I saw it start to peek over the trees.
They flew right over our roof.
I could have handed them a cup of coffee.
What a perfect morning for a balloon ride.
(But as for me, I prefer to keep my two hooves planted firmly on the ground)
Happy Sunday.
:> )
Happy Sunday! We live near the airport and there used to be an annual hot air balloon event, until there was a bad accident and they cancelled it. I love to watch them, but it's terra firma for this old gal, also.
ReplyDeleteWhat about those kooks that tie balloons to lawn chairs and take a rifle with them. Now, THAT's risky, I'm just sayin...
Ha! Ha!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a Saturday night in these parts! ;> )
I am crackin' up over your pics!
ReplyDeleteHA! Really funny. Balloon is very pretty, but I agree with you..I'm keeping my feet on terra-firma.
Have a great Sunday.
Blessings, Nancy
