Time to batten down the hatches...

Looks like New Jersey will get the brunt of Sandy and then she'll come far inland up to us here in Central New York.

I have many customers and blog friends in her path so please be prepared and be safe. Remember it's better to be safe than sorry. Heck, I have a feeling we're going to be in for some crazy weather these next few months.

On that note, I will leave you with this.

How I love people with a great sense of humor even during trying times.

Happy Sunday!

  1. Here in Northwestern Vermont we are expecting sustained winds of 50mph with gusts of 75-90mph in some places. Not much of a rain event with only about 3" over 3 days. I pray for those in the direct path.

  2. I love the sign. Gotta have humor.

They have downgraded the storm that we are supposed to get to only 2" of rain with no accumulation of snow. We sometimes lose power so we are prepared for that. The fact that the news makes it sound like Godzilla is headed this way makes it sound really scary. I have heard "mutant" and "monster" storm. Better safe than sorry. Hunker down and enjoy whatever "falling weather" you do get (if you can). xoxo

  6. Thanks, gals. Hopefully the news is more hype than reality.
But it's always better to be prepared than not. Being self sufficient is key. Heck, that's how they did it in the old days. :> )
