We didn't get above 33 degrees either. It's nuts!
Even the woodland creatures are puzzled. Yesterday I saw a lil' gray squirrel sporting a two piece and flip flops. Today she was wearing a bubble vest and leg warmers.
Of course a strand of lights went out on some of my garland. Sigh.
Of course out of the 50,000 extra strands of lights I have in the basement for back up, none of them worked. Okay, I may have exaggerated with the 50,000 number. Deduct 3.
So now I've got to head out sometime and grab more strands of lights. Man, it's always something...
So who the heck knows what tomorrow's weather will bring?
But I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a buck driving a '66 Mustang convertible. The lucky, furry son-of-a-gun.
Happy Wednesday evening, all.

ReplyDeleteKarin,
ReplyDeleteThat is just craziness! We had 67 degrees yesterday, but we did not wake up with snow! Woah! But the snow looks gorgeous with your decorations!!! I LOVE your wreath!
Sorry about your lights... I feel your pain...
Blessings!

ReplyDeleteI now what you mean..I cut grass and trimmed bushes on the weekend ..now it is 23.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is pretty.
Your house looks beautiful and so Christmasy even without all your lights. Merry Chirstmas Karen. Have a great one.

...Gosh, I love your homestead! Lovely, lovely and LOVELY! ;o)
ReplyDelete...Seriously, that first photo is a future Peanut Family Christmas Card if I ever saw one!
...We've got that same crazy weather going on here. I don't like it at all. I'm one of "those" people who likes winter weather in winter, spring weather in spring, summer weather in summer and fall weather in fall. Period. :o)
...Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos Miss Karin!
...Enjoy the snow!
...Blessings :o)
House looks fantastic and I think that chilly little squirrel might like an invite inside! Wouldn't Gracie love that??
ReplyDeleteLights are always a hassle and having 49,997 reserve bulbs which do not function sounds like something which woulld happen to me!
Our weather is chilly too..but more like 61 than 33...still in CA 61 is chilly to most people.
The photos look great! Sort of wish we did that here, but Peg and I are old sticks in the mud who don't decorate any more.
'Course you could hop a jet and come decorate FOR us....and warm up. Just joking.....not really.
