(I know many of you can relate)
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about my Darla. She taught me so much in those 12 short years the good Lord above gave me with her.
She set the bar high and is the reason we'll always have a Boston Terrier in our lives.

Bless you Karin! And now you have that mink Stella to drive you mental.

I bet the Lord is petting her right now and they are both laughing at the antics of her successor to the dog bed throne!
ReplyDeleteI know just how you feel...our HookyCat has been gone 5 months today...and he was MY best friend.
I bet she is waging her little stub of a tail looking down on you, Hugs Francine.
ReplyDeleteSending you a HUGE HUG Karin~
ReplyDeleteOur Fur Babies are our kids!!
Hope you are having a good day~
Enjoy your Sunday~

It's so hard when we lose our fur babies! They become so much a part of the family! I lost one of my many cats back in 2003 about 3 weeks before I was going to be able to go see her. She was with my folks, as I had gone to live in another country, and we were getting ready to go visit them for just over a month. My poor kitty was getting old, and declining rapidly, and I wasn't able to be there with her when she passed on at the age of 15. Still gets to me this day as she was my best little friend ever. So it's hard, no matter how much time has passed.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Andrea
Thanks, everyone. ♥
ReplyDeleteAli, Stella is truly driving me mental and I wouldn't want her any other way. :> )
Peri, I felt so bad for you when I found out about Hooky. I can totally relate.
Francine, guaranteed that lil' nub of hers is wagging like crazy!
Thanks, sweet Birdy!
Andrea, I am so sorry you couldn't be there. But knowing your precious furbaby was in good hands with family while you were gone is a blessing.
Peanut thank you for sharing pictures of Darla. She is missed and I hope she is playing with Butch.
ReplyDeleteOnce you have that special dog (Boston) they really leave a mark on
your heart. It is a gift to love them so much.
