After turning 50 last fall,

I noticed how easy it was to put on the lbs. Unfortunately for me, a little too easy. Sigh.



Summer is on its way and I'm worried when I try to squeeze into and button my shorts, it will pop off and ricochet around the room like in those cartoons.
(Ooooh, maybe I need to rub some butter around my waistline. Useful and tasty!)

So it's time for me to get a grip and realize I can't eat like I used to. I also need to get outside and exercise. Sadly rolling paint on interior walls isn't considered part of the P90X workout.

  4. Be happy! You are who and what you are. If you are healthy, relax. A few pounds is not that bad. But if you have more than a few...put Gracie on a leash and take her for long walks around the place...I would say use Stella but maybe you are not up to running!

  5. Think like a French woman. Apparently it works. Hpefully not just for la Francaise. I mean, they eat butter and cream and drink wine and are mostly as thin as sylphs. I'll let you know how I get on with channelling my inner Frenchie.
