Ack! I didn't order enough wallpaper...

I thought I could get away with buying a little less than I thought. Will I ever learn?!
Ummm. Probably not.

But in my defense if I didn't have to waste so much (matching up the pattern) I would have had plenty.

So I have one wall left to do. But it has the doorway and two small closets so I should be able to get it done lickety split.
I'm hoping my order will arrive before the weekend.

Oh well... But what I did get done, looks BA-U-TEE-FUL!!!!

Jeepers, now I need to decorate it a little. Hmmm... What to do. What to do.

Happy Super Tuesday, all!!

  1. It would looks great! You could put family photos in antique picture frames on one wall. i have a wall dedicated in my living room with family photos taken back in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I have a mixture of oval frames and the carved cross frames. I am always surprised at the amount of people that stop and want to know the history in each picture. Your wallpaper and furniture just beg to have pictures in sepia...but then again that is just my two cents,♥

  2. Thanks, Judi! I LOVE old photos! I have a section of wall in our dining room with old photos of our families and of this old farmhouse back in the early 20th century. Everyone that visits is immediately drawn to them. ♥
I do have a large, lovely (late 1800's) Victorian lady (holding a bouquet of flowers) in the original frame. The photo is lightly tinted too. I have no idea who she but the photo is beautiful. I bought her at an antique shop. and have hung on to her for 25 years. I think she'll look great in there. I can't tell you how many times I put her out for sale when we had our annual barn sale and every time I brought her back into the house. I wasn't ready to let go. A good thing I didn't! :> )
