Hahahaha!! Oh, I so needed this today! My tears ( we had to put our sweet dog down on Monday) have turned into tears of laughter...that last one.. hilarious!! Thank you!!!!
Oh no, Denise!!! I am so very sorry!!!! My heart breaks for you!! So many of us have had to deal with the dread of putting down a beloved furbaby!! It's always the right thing to do but I still struggle with a little guilt. If only they would pass in their sleep. Unfortunately that's a rarity. Again, I am so sorry and hugs to you. If I was ever a librarian I would have a sign like that. (A good thing I was never a librarian.) ((giggle)) The parrot one cracked me up. "Polly want a.... uh-oh. " :> )
Thank you so very much, Karin. My husband and I have cried so many tears that we felt physically sick from it. We had horrible headaches and just very nauseated. We still can't believe he's gone. We've had a pet for 20 years now and both are gone. I used to have a tuxedo cat but she passed away in 2012. Yes, my hubby and I said the same thing about Denver passing in his sleep instead of taking him to the vet to have him put to sleep. He was soooo happy going bye byes (we always called it that) because he hasn't been out in so long. My gosh, it broke our heart seeing him so happy only to never be able to come back home with us. But thank you again. I appreciate it. Hugs to you. Oh my gosh, the parrot one was too funny! You find great stuff!
Theresa, I totally agree! If only, right??!! Denise, I know exactly how you feel. Hubs and I had to deal with the loss of our mini doxie in 2011 and again in 2012 with our Boston Terrier. We swore never again. It was too painful. But our home just isn't complete without a furbaby or two. Francine, we all could use a good daily laugh!
