A drive like this makes you forget all about the craziness going on in the country and cures all your ills.

I highly recommend one.

Happy Sunday, all.

  1. Hi Karin. It looks like you had an enjoyable drive. I love this time of year. Very relaxing and I love the smell in the air (maybe not by the cows, lol). Did the girls go with you?

  3. Oh, how lovely!! You really do live in a beautiful area! I'm from Jersey and miss all the awesome farms and great countryside. Living in the south, well here, anyway, you don't really see that. And as for the cow smell, my cat just passed some gas! I think the cows might smell better! Haha Whew!

  4. I totally agree! We got out on Saturday and it was just about as perfect a Fall day as it gets. I love this time of year.

  5. I live in Jersey too and there is so much growth, there isn't much farmland left. My grandparents had a farm in Iowa, so I have a special fondness for cows. Actually, I don't notice their aroma much. Stella mentioned it it one of her posts, that's what made me think of it.

  6. Phyllis, Yes, I did hear one of my relatives say that. It's really too bad because there were so many great farms there. I lived in Pemberton....more central Jersey. Do you know where that is? I've also lived in Country Lakes as well. I miss that state. We moved to SC 32 years ago. We were so close to the seashore when we lived up there, like 40 minutes. Now it takes us 4 hours down here.

  7. Hi Denise. I live in Old Bridge, which is centrally located. I haven't heard of Pemberton. I'll have to look it up. I used to visit friends in SC. The Spanish Moss is beautiful. They lived in Hilton Head, so they were near the water.
