Hey Karin, Its funny that you mentioned your daddy today..my sister sent me an email reminding us that my dad passed away yesterday on the 9th 21 years ago and was buried this sunday the 12th and his birthday is the 14th....My dad waited till i got there to say goodbye the day he passed away..he was in a coma at that time.but was hanging on till I got there..we drove straight through from washington to utah..it was a 16 hour drive...I remember the windows being open and it was beautiful outside...and for our last 3 babys that we buried it was beautiful and sunny out..I am positve God planned that as well...I hope you have a wonderful Easter knowing your dad is smiling down on you and that he is happy and healthy...Take care of your sweet self you are a doll and I treasure our friendship...you look so cute in your easter best by the way...:)

What a sweet post and a tearful reminder of losing my own mother several weeks before Easter in '97. My sister and I were on the phone with each other when Mom's brother, came to my sister's house to let us know she was gone. Even though we were not there with her, she would have loved knowing that we were talking together at the exact time she passed away. She always wanted us to be closer and we have been since that day.

By the way, you are too cute in your Sunday finery. Enjoy this weekend and all the emotions and memories that it brings. Hugs, Susan

What a touching story of you 'Easter's Past'. And I think a tear rolled down my cheek as well. God bless you, dear.

Peanut,

My heart goes out to you because my dad passed away right after Thanksgiving and it has never been the same for me either. We have their memories and that is something life can never take away. As Easter was bittersweet for God, it is bittersweet for you my friend and I will say a prayer for comfort and peace to bless you and your family. Happy Easter.

Blessings,

Cathy

Peanut,
tears fill my eyes as I read your story. Sadly my Daddy passed just 5 months ago and the only souls that knew were his beloved pets. I hadn't seen him since August. We chatted every week and I almost called that day too a friday as well. I know what you went through is so much harder. Thankfully Daddy had fished that day with all his friends, taken the boat out for the last time and fried them for dinner. Died watching the basketball game. Just the way he would have wanted it. I know that my faith is stronger as well and when you have time sometime I will tell ya another story that will make your hair stand straight up and believe even more in the Lord.
This week has been very weepy with first time I have seen Momma since he had passed.
Sorry Easter is so hard for you sugar. I do hope someday it will be joyful again.
Hugs,Pea
