So the man yelled, "God, speak to me"
and the thunder rolled across the sky.
But, the man did not listen.
The man looked around and said, "God, let me see you"
and a star shone brightly.
But, the man did not notice.
The man shouted, "God, show me a miracle!"
And a life was born.
But, the man did not see.
So, the man cried out in dispair, "Touch me God,
and let me know you are here!"
Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man....
But, the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.

But it takes me a bit to get there is...
Right here.
Local homeowners placed this giant white cross on their land. On it, it reads, "Jesus is Lord." It warms my heart and I smile every time I see it. ♥
Hmmm... I wonder if New York City's Mayor Michael Bloomberg would also welcome with open arms a big ol' white cross like this near Ground Zero? We all know how pro First Amendment he is. He's been quite the chatterbox about it lately.
Although oddly enough he has a real problem with the Second Amendment.
I'm so inspired by the giant white cross, I may place one on our land.
Man, it would be so cool to see Christians from all over this great land, willin' to show their support for the First Amendment and place a white cross somewhere near their home for all to see. Whether it be a grand 25 feet or a modest 12 inches. ♥
Maybe I need to start a Facebook page.

God bless.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

For it bein' a first time event, the turn out was great!
Here's the first runner. You can't see but he had the most awesome neon green color sneaks on!!
It was so nice to see familes participate. ♥
We were the Beaver Pond crew.
Unfortunately, Stan the Beaver didn't participate. But I did here some "woo-hoos" comin' from his den.
Thank goodness the only "casualty" we had was when this sweet girl's sneaker fell apart.
So off on the 4-wheeler she went.
These two gals were last but certainly not least!
A fun time was had by all...
I know Ruth was watchin' down on everyone with a big ol' smile on her sweet face!
RIP darlin'.

I was notified just today my website hostin' service U-Maintain-It will be closin' its doors permanently this Friday August 6th at 10:00am. I had no idea!!
That means my website will no longer be in service through them. So now, I am in process of decidin' where I will be sellin' my wares. Of course you will still find me on TDIPT Mercantile. ♥
In the mean time, please keep my blog in your favorites so you can check in and I can keep ya updated on where my new home will be!
P.S.
Since they also host most of my photos, my blog is goin' to look like sh*t for bit. But I'll be workin' on that too!

to make yourself at home like that
with no concern for rain or flood -
your tender paws in sticky mud.
What fussy pussy cat would dare
to stroll the marsh and settle there
and never hiss or spit or stir
while on your tail
a blackbird sits
and nips and nibbles at your fur?

"The first supermarket supposedly appeared on the American landscape in 1946. That is not very long ago. Until then, where was all the food?
