I'm going to make slipcovers for our front porch wicker furniture. Well "slipcovers" sounds like I know what the heck I'm doing. So let's just say I'm going to make "fabric envelopes" and tuck them inside. **giggle**
Yesterday, I freshened up our front porch light fixture. Make that "we" freshened up our front porch light fixture. No I don't have a mouse in my pocket; my hubs helped, kicking and screaming of course.
I always manage to rope him into my projects someway or another and it usually consists of him having to wrestle something back together for me. Which he did. The light fixture came off a lot easier than it went back on.
But now it looks like a new fixture! Someday I will convince him, it's all worth it.
Ummm... Probably not.

I Swannee, Gal. Sometimes I think we share a brain. Hubby and I did our light fixture last month and it looks fabulous. He did all the work, I just bugged him whilst he did it.
Do Not talk to me about ticking. My uncle loved the stuff. He even found wallpaper that was a ticking pattern, to which he had curtains made to match and painted the bathroom walls a lovely shade of gray to match and used yellow towels to match the stripe.
As nice as your dolls turn out, slip covers will be a breeze for you. Don't sell yourself short, with my new eyes, I can really see just how special you are. You rock, girl.
Love the ticking and can't wait to see your furniture enveloped in it! LOL
