In a nutshell...

 photo ed1bbdc0-aa0d-441e-8bda-df5fedcbbd6f_zps5a969835.jpg

Still working on the bathroom remodel. A 150 year old farmhouse comes with 150 year old problems. When we removed the old tub, we found everything back there except Jimmy Hoffa.

But I am grateful the new bathtub is finally in.

We were getting pretty ripe. ((giggle))

In an old farmhouse nothing is square. Everything droops or slants.
Kind of like myself.
I know it will get done, it's just taking longer than I expected. I also know all this hard work will be worth it in the end.

I just hope I survive it to enjoy it.

Happy Tuesday, all!

Bless your heart! Hubby always says it is not the actual remodel but all the hidden problems that cause the biggest headache.Glad that you were able to get the tub installed.Blessings,Jen

Take a deep breath Karin, and out. Yes, old houses have so many funny slates to work around. Can't wait to see, Blessings Francine.

We ALWAYS find hidden problems. And our house is not old. And not square either! Kudos to you guys for doing all that work. In the end, when you're soaking in the tub it will be worth the hassle.
We're about to spiff up the upstairs bathroom (downstairs being a tiny water closet)...and I'm afraid to find out what is underneath the tile. But Onward!

Thanks, you guys. ♥
Last night we started putting up the beadboard/wainscoting and trim. It's finally starting to look like we're accomplishing something. I am so grateful for vinyl beadboard/wainscoting. Not only is it beautiful, it is very forgiving when it comes to old, crooked, wavy walls. I highly recommend it!! :> )
