On a boring and bitterly cold February day it's either...

stuff my face or paint something.

I went with the latter.

I decided to lighten up my (matte black) vintage Murphy ironing board. Man, you have no idea how much I love this thing and will never part with it. No I don't love to iron. I love the fact that it hangs on the wall yet it is tucked away and isn't seen. Genius!

Those who live in old houses know there is little to no closet space. Anywhere. You have to make due with what you have and get very creative with storage. So having a closet to store a large ironing board is quite lavish to me. ((hee-hee))

After 17 years I still haven't figured out where to put my vacuum cleaner.
I don't think I can get away with hanging it on the wall.

Happy Friday, all!

Stay warm and think spring!

I know your pain. I love my vacuum cleaner as brooms do not get the dirt up from pets. How about a cover for it? I might try it. I have the ironing board in the wall and love it, but it is still painted the manufacturer color. Not so nice! Your's looks great!

Thanks Karen and I agree! A vacuum cleans up so much better when you have four legged furbabies.
Unfortunately I have a canister style with a broken little tab that keeps the vacuum upright when not in use. So right now it's just sprawled across the floor. The only way I could cover it is with a bed sheet. ((giggle))
But I do like the cover idea. I bet they make some cute ones out there!

I'm here in England, the Land of No Closet Space, so idea like that need to be exported over tout suit! Its cold here too, but definitely not painting weather, which I like to do when its warm and dry.

Here's to an early Spring!

Ali, they must have Murphy style ironing boards in jolly old England! I'm also hoping for an early spring. But a foot of snow just got dumped on us yesterday and more is to come tomorrow. Make that 30.48 centimeters. Thank you Google for that conversion. ((giggle))
